Vino Volo and Paradies Lagardère Celebrate Concessions Program at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Diverse restaurants, wine bars and retail options greet travelers

ATLANTA – Vino Volo, the award-winning preferred wine option for travelers throughout North America, and Paradies Lagardère, a leading North American travel retailer and restaurateur, celebrated the grand opening of two new Texas-themed wine bars, Vino Volo High Plains and Vino Volo Hill Country, as well as several wildly-successful Paradies Lagardère retail and dining concepts on Thursday, February 13.

Paradies Lagardère has brought to the airport several locally influenced and national brands including Salvation Pizza, Ruta Maya Coffee, Thundercloud Subs, Berry Austin, Hut’s Hamburgers, Mad Greens, Departure Lounge, and Second Bar + Kitchen. The retail options serving travelers, visitors and employees at the airport include Barton Springs, CNBC and The Scoreboard.

The Vino Volo Hill Country concept was inspired by a variety of Texas wineries including Pedernales Cellars, Duchman Winery and William Chris Vineyards, and the geography of Fredericksburg Texas - home of Hill Country. Travelers are greeted by an extensive wine selection that guests can purchase by the glass, flight or bottle to take with them. The restaurant can also ship bottles for customers. The menu features snacks, entrees, and desserts designed to pair with the wine offered, including charcuterie boards with a variety of artisanal meats and cheeses. Entrees include Vino Volo’s signature salmon rolls, and burrata and roasted tomato salad. The space features a clean and relaxing design, a calm respite for busy travelers.
