Vancouver International Airport Travelers to See Two New Paradies Lagardère Concepts This Year

Proprietary and international travel essential brands added to the retail program, two additional stores coming in 2020

ATLANTA – Paradies Lagardère, a leading North American travel retailer and restaurateur, was recently awarded two concessions packages at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

As a result of this two-package award, four new stores will be coming to the airport of which three will be located in the International Terminal Building (ITB) and one in the Domestic Terminal Building (DTB). Coastal News, which will open in 2019, will feature a new, modern design that will appeal to airport employees and international travelers alike. The ITB pre-security location will offer travel basics such as neck pillows, eye masks, travel adapters, smartphone cables, drinks and snacks, as well as regional gifts and gourmet food items such as Maple Crème cookies and Icewine tea and chocolates. In the ITB post-security, Relay will also feature a new design that caters to the busy traveler, and will not only offer travel essentials, but also a full-service illy Café with seating allowing busy travelers to grab a beverage or something to eat on the go, enjoy a glass of wine, or to have a quiet moment before the next leg of their trip. Both concepts will open in 2019. Opening in 2020 in a new expansion area of the ITB, Deepwater Spirit will embody Vancouver and the surrounding area, with an exciting design concept and popular local products. Pacific Coast News, already a traveler favorite at the airport, will also open a new location later in 2020 in the pre-security area of the DTB.
