Paradies Lagardère to Introduce Chef Michael Mina Restaurant and Unique Travel Essential Concept to San Francisco International Airport
The travel retail and restaurateur leader awarded two spaces in Terminal 1
Atlanta, December 11th, 2018 – Paradies Lagardère was awarded a dining concept and a travel essential store at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The company will introduce to travelers Mills Cargo, a new and modern interpretation of the travel essential store, and Bourbon Pub, a restaurant by award-winning chef Michael Mina.
Paradies Lagardère carefully considered the airport’s objectives and goals, and the needs of its travelers and employees, to create the winning bid. A restaurant developed from the visionary imagination of San Francisco-based chef Michael Mina, Bourbon Pub will offer a casual atmosphere and delicious and inventive pub fare. And inspired by the history of SFO and its origins as Mills Field, which opened in 1927, the Mills Cargo travel essential store will be anything but basic, offering snacks, drinks, travel and electronic accessories, as well as goods from local vendors. Paradies Lagardère recently expanded its award-winning food and beverage operations with the acquisition of Hojeij Branded Foods, and the new Dining Division is excited to deliver a unique experience with this new restaurant concept.

Bourbon Pub will offer American favorites such as burgers, tacos and steaks, as well as dishes from around the globe that reflect San Francisco’s multicultural food scene. The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offer craft beer and innovative cocktails, as well as a selection of quality bourbon.
Mills Cargo, invoking the nostalgia of a local corner store, will offer items from Etta + Billie, Scents of San Francisco, The Good Chocolate, and Timbuk2. The décor will be fresh and modern, with a retro airport feel. Customers will also have the convenience of easy pay options such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Mobile POS.
