Nashville International Airport selects Paradies Lagardère to Lead Retail and Dining Concessions in New Satellite Concourse

ATLANTA, September 1, 2022 – Award-winning airport restaurateur and retailer Paradies Lagardère is excited to announce the award of a new dining and retail concessions contract with the Nashville International Airport, BNA. The new program, including four restaurants and three retail stores, will deliver a collection of popular local favorites and recognized national brands to the airport’s new, eight-gate satellite concourse, which is designed to accommodate the airport’s growing passenger population.

Paradies Lagardère will partner with two successful and Nashville-based small business owners – Amy Billings of Wine Down Nashville, LLC, and E.J. Odom of EJO Ventures – to execute and operate this new contract.

BNA is poised to continue thriving in the coming years as Nashville was identified as one of the “Top 50 Places to Travel in 2021” by Travel + Leisure magazine. This hybrid retail and restaurant contract will serve well the new satellite concourse demographic and the overall growing traffic in the airport, which is up seven percent from the airport’s record-breaking year in 2019.

“Paradies Lagardère’s commitment to local authenticity and their sharp focus on the overall airport experience is why we’re thrilled to partner with them on the new dining and retail concessions for our upcoming satellite concourse,” said president and CEO of Nashville International Airport Doug Kreulen. “BNA is the first and last experience that passengers get of Music City, and it’s vital to us that our dining and retail options reflect the experience of downtown Nashville. We look forward to expanding the BNA Experience in our newest concourse.”

“We are excited to partner with the Nashville International Airport and support their Nashville Airport Experience philosophy by delivering a world-class retail and dining showcase worthy of Music City,” said Gregg Paradies, President and CEO of Paradies Lagardère. “Our undeniable mix of iconic local and national brands paired with our industry-leading customer service will engage and excite travelers with amazing flavors, unique retail offerings, live entertainment and customer-centric innovation.”

The seven new locations are anchored around the celebrated local icon, Fat Bottom Brewing, which will embody founder Ben Bredesen’s West Nashville location by offering a delicious menu covering all day parts, the brand’s featured beer, wine and specialty cocktails, fresh grab and go, and a live music stage showcasing an array of Nashville’s great musicians.

Adding to the exciting lineup of restaurants will be another local favorite, Bongo Java, serving its famous coffee as well as all-day breakfast items, the popular Jimmy John’s that will serve its fresh and affordable offerings, and TX/MX, a proven Paradies Lagardère proprietary concept offering flavorful Southwestern fare.

Travelers will be just as thrilled by the retail offerings of this new contract. Gulch Goodspays homage to The Gulch neighborhood and offers a unique shop-in-shop concept dedicated to local artisan goods, including Thistle Farms, Paddywax, Nashville Soap Company, Olive & Sinclair, and more. Distillery District Market will showcase Tennessee’s whisky industry with a wide variety of premium spirits and merchandise, while BNA Supply Co. is a colorful retail store featuring popular travel essentials, a gourmet snack section of local purveyors, and a new display called Popular that emphasizes great gift items all under $20.

This retail and dining program will include innovations that drive engagement, convenience, and customer satisfaction such as self-checkout stations, our Scan, Pay & Go program, mobile ordering, infrared gateless technology and more.
